I love this necklace... so much that I'm probably including too many photos. However, as you can see, the colors change depending on the light and surroundings. There's a passionate energy to this rose mauve piece.
It definitely begins with this exquisite hand carved Mother of Pearl lotus flower. Generous in size and shimmering with irridescent color: from deep, rich rose to mauve. I dangled it from a pale rose mauve chubby bead of Rainbow Fluorite. The necklace is composed of amazing Freshwater Pearls and some more of the Rainbow Fluorite, accented with gold. I hand wire wrapped all these beautiful beads with gold jewelery's wire.
This is a dramatic necklace, yet decidedly feminine. That's as it should be, since the lotus flower symbolizes birth and rebirth; purity and enlightenment. It is also a symbol for fertility and creation. This is a necklace that would make a spectacular gift for your beloved.
